Solihull MP Lorely Burt spent an enjoyable afternoon visiting two successful Fylde businesses before rallying the troops at the Annual Libdem Dinner.
Her visit to Inenco in St. Anne's gave Lorely Burt, the Liberal Democrat shadow minister responsible for Business and Enterprise, the opportunity to discover the challenges facing the local business community and how that resonates nationally.
She learnt about the difficulties retailers face when high streets have too high a proportion of charity and/or take-away establishments whilst bigger businesses are finding a lack of forward planning and speedy decision making at national level together with poor local transport infrastructure as handicaps to their future development.
