Bob Fielding gets his campaign underway this week in Fairhaven Ward. Bob, a resident of St. Anne's is standing for a place on St. Anne's Town Council left vacant due to the resignation of Cllr. Walker in October last year.
Bob has been involved in local affairs for some time and campaigned strongly against the closure of St. Anne's Swimming Pool. Together with his wife Anne, they joined the 3000-strong protest march against the Tory-instigated closure. He also queried the unfairness of the new charges levied for elderly swimmers at Kirkham Pool by the Borough Council.

He has concerns about climate change and the local environment and is the main coordinator for Residents Organisation for Airport Review (R.O.A.R) and attends the meetings of Blackpool Airport's Joint Consultative Committee. He hopes to work with the new owners to lessen the negative impact that the airport's operations have on the people of St. Anne's.
Bob has a background in Manufacturing Engineering has lived in St. Anne's for over 30 years. As well as being a member of the Fylde Citizens Awareness Group he has recently become a Governor of Lytham St.Anne's's Technology and Performing Arts College.
