Justice for the Gurkhas

Liberal Democrats have been in the forefront of the campaign for justice for the Gurkhas. Leader Nick Clegg said that we will use our Opposition Day debate to try to reverse the recent policy of "this morally bankrupt Government". For those that didn't see Bill Wright's letter in the Blackpool Gazette of 28th April you can register your support by going to www.gurkhajustice.org.uk. Mr Wright asked for Prospective Parliamentary Candidates etc to stand up & be counted. Fylde Lib Dem PPC, Prof. Bill Winlow, said that "he would be only too ready continue his support for the cause. The Government's position brings shame on Britain".
