Lib Dems champion Gurkhas rights

Nick Clegg and the Lib Dems have handed Gordon Brown his first ever Parliamentary defeat on the issue of Gurkha rights. Parliament backed a Liberal Democrat motion to allow retired Gurkhas to settle in the UK if they wish to. The Gurkhas for Justice Campaign has been led from the front by Nick Clegg and Joanna Lumley, in demanding a result for all these brave and loyal soldiers.

Nick Clegg has unreservedly condemned the ineptitude of the Government and said, "People who are willing to die for our country, should be allowed to live in our country."
