Congratulations Howard for winning the Lancashire County Council Election in St Annes North (inc. Kilnhouse, St. Leonard's and Ashton Wards).

The results are as follows:

Howard Henshaw 2049 Liberal Democrats

Karen Buckley 1502 Conservative

Bill Whitehead 614 UKIP

Peter Stephenson 296 Labour

Congratulations also go to Prof. Bill Winlow who stood as a candidate in Preston West (includes part of the Fylde). He secured a win by just 38 votes.

Drew Gayle 472 Labour

Karen Henshaw stood in St. Anne's South and lost out by 267 votes. Karen still managed to poll 34% of the votes cast in an area, which had one of the lowest turn-outs.
