Local Elections

There was not much excitement in the local elections held on 17th September. Defending parties held onto their seats including Lib Dem Esmond Jenkins in the Waterpark ward of Cotswold District Council. It is still not good news for the Conservatives however. Their vote went DOWN by 31.5% as the LibDem vote went UP by the same amount. In the South Bank ward of Redcar & Cleveland Unitary Authority the Lib Dem vote went UP by 25.1% & the Conservatives came fifth behind UKIP.
