Today's press (10th Oct.), especially the right wing tabloid press, has had much to say about the rejection of Tony Blair by the father of a soldier killed in Iraq & the remarks of the Archbishop of Canterbury at yesterdays service of commemoration. We should not forget that back in 2002 the Tories were even more enthusiastic for the invasion of Iraq than Blair & the Government. Of the major political parties ONLY the Liberal Democrats were actively opposed.
