Could you be losing heat and wasting money ?

Fylde Low Waste and Energy (FLoWE) will be going around Fylde Borough next week using a Heat camera to take digital photographs of the infrared light (in the form of heat) released by buildings and other objects.

If you would like FLoWE to visit your house to take an image that will show how your house is losing its heat then please contact either me (cllr.tford@fylde,gov,uk) or FloWE, FLoWE@fylde.gov.uk.) with your details. You do not have to be at home when this is taken, but it would be useful if your heating has been on for a couple of hours before the picture is taken. The image will then be printed out and sent to you along with an assessment of where your major loss of heat is coming from and suggestions on how this can be improved. This could be a useful way to reduce your energy consumption and fuel bills.
