We have collected 93 trees for recycling since we launched our scheme. Although it was intended to just cover St Annes as a way of mitigating the closure of the tip by the Tories, enquiries have come in from far and wide.
LibDems - making a difference locally
Although the bulk of the collections came from Ashton & St Leonards Wards, trees were collected from Heyhouses, Central and Fairhaven wards as well.
We received lots of positive comments about what we were doing and our efforts certainly haven't gone unnoticed.

Whilst the Tories are busy closing the local recycling centre (the Tip) and the Tourist Information Centre, the LibDems are actually doing things to help local residents.
