Joanne GARDNER for Kilnhouse

Joanne has lived in Kilnhouse for over 30 years, moving here with her husband Dan. After gaining an honours degree in English & Philosophy at Keele University, Joanne worked at the Gazette, progressing to be the Advertisement Director.

After taking early retirement. Joanne took on a number of voluntary roles, including working in the St. Anne’s RNLI shop, and helping the Blackpool Road North Friends Group.

Joanne was elected on to St. Anne’s Town Council in 2019 and she has been a very active member, being the only Town Council member to join both the CAN & TEN groups, helping deliver many events such as: Sounds in the Square, Music Festivals and Santa around Town.
