Karen HENSHAW JP for Kilnhouse
A Magistrate for 15 years, School Governor for 10 years and Councillor for 16 years; Karen devotes much of her time helping the community, enjoying her roles as Patron of Homestart Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre and Honorary President of Lytham Performing Arts Society.
She was an Executive Officer at Lytham Land Registry before travelling the world with her husband, Howard, who worked in finance. Whilst in Singapore Karen was a scriptwriter and presenter of children's and cultural programmes for Singapore Television.
Karen is a member of Churches Together in St Annes, and with music being Karen's main hobby, she still sings with the Wedgwood Singers.
